By car : Woodsmokeis connected by road from Chandigarh (100 Kms), from Kalka (86 Kms) and from Delhi (360 Kms). The drive from Delhi to Shoghi takes approximately 7 hours and from Chandigarh to Shoghi, approximately 3 hours depending on traffic conditions.

Travel on NH 22, (also known as the Hindustan Tibet road, it runs from Ambala through Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh up to Khab on the Chinese border) until you reach Shoghi. Turn right from the market onto the bypass going towards the Tara Devi temple. Three kms down the road you will see the milestone for Village Anandpur. You can’t miss the terraced green roofs of Woodsmoke on your right.

By rail : Fast trains run daily from Delhi to Chandigarh and Kalka. From Kalka, over five train connections are available daily on all days of the week upto Shimla. Popularly known as toy trains, they run on a quaint narrow gauge railway, built in 1903. The Indian Railways have also refurbished the Rail Car for those wanting a more exclusive experience on the lines of the British Raj days. The travel time is approximately 4 hours. You can get off at the Shoghi railway station. We will arrange a pickup.

By plane : Direct flights are available from Delhi to Shimla. The airport at Jabarhatti is 20 km from Woodsmoke. We will arrange a pickup.

By bus : Volvos, deluxe buses leave at frequent intervals for Shimla/Shogh from all cities and towns. We will arrange a pickup from Shoghi.
